ANALISIS GANGGUAN HUBUNG SINGKAT PADA BELITAN TRANSFORMATOR MENGGUNAKAN WAVELET DISKRIT

ABSTRACT
Short-circuit fault on transformer turn was one of the most disruptive for electrical service. This cause of needed of detection
of short-circuit on transformer. In this paper discussed short-circuit fault on 220/500 volt, 250 VA transformers. Experiment
done for normal condition and fault on both primary and secondary turn. Analysis done using Haar discrete wavelet
transforms. Analysis result shows the difference between normal and fault condition. When fault occur, analysis result shows
that spike occur on wavelet signal decomposition. Spike occurs specially on secondary side. This will lead us to put
measurement instrument just on secondary side to detect of occurrence of short-circuit on transformer turn.
